From Jazz to cumbia

Xavier Fernandez, a multifaceted and antidogmatic guitarist, collaborates with contrasting and diverse projects, having improvisation as a point of union. After playing a Latin music concert with the singer-songwriter Jano Arias, he launched Don Goyo project, a more experimental proposal with “jazzy” overtones.
His interest when composing or accompanying other musicians is having the freedom to combine the genres that have influenced him, ranging from rock to composers like Steve Reich, through jazz or even cumbia.
