Synopsis
The death of his father forces Óscar to return to his hometown, a place in Mexico far from the city with no access to telephone or internet, where only a handful of women can be found. Óscar will take care of the post office, while debating between staying in town with Martha, his childhood love, or going back to his life in the United States.

Montserrat Larqué
Director, screenwriter and producer of diverse cinema and TV content. Graduated in Communication Studies from Universidad Iberoamericana with a specialization in cinema and a Masters Degree in Feature Film Script from the Universidad Menéndez Pelayo thanks to an Ibermedia Scholarship support.
Recipient of multiple awards and funds like IMCINE’s First National Competition for Short Film Projects, which allowed her to direct her debut film “Poison” (2002), also nominated to the Diosas de Plata Award for “Cheers to the Newlyweds! (2017) for best short film of the year.
Currently, Montserrat Larqué is working on her first series “In Vitro”; which was the winner of the Gabriel Figueroa Film Fund at Los Cabos Film Festival and also on the feature film “Violets in the Cave” with producer Elsa Reyes for Zensky Cine in Mexico.
Her first feature film '“Over There, Love is a Destiny”had its world premiere at FICG 2023.
